I've been working hard on my science fiction rewrites and composing new poetry. I wrote my first poem at my grandmother's driveway, and ever since then I've kept the habit of jotting down ideas immediately when inspiration strikes.

Whether it's a new verse that comes to me in the middle of the night or a plot twist for my sci-fi novel, I always keep a notebook nearby. The creative process never sleeps — and neither does this writer!
